In addition, as our population explodes, and the planet gets damaged, there is a certain macrocosmic (combined consciousness of all humans) need to control the crises. These two things make me pessimistic concerning the elimination of self destructive behaviors as well as such problems as spousal and child abuse in any reasonable time. Intellectual and media awareness of the problem is a long way from eliminating it.

At 8:00pm on March 8, 2009, papaed said…: Thanks for honoring my quick thoughts by quoting. There are male attitudes and personalities that I find offensive. I avoid them as possible. As a policeman you could not avoid them. I've been selling a contract worth good money to me and had a husband snap at his wife with hostile disrespect. I stood up, said I was too busy for him and walked out. He was just confused, but I would not bring my crew into his house to remodel and I knew we would have disagreements even if I did get paid, which I doubted.

I get on a soap box easily too.
