Runt: Memories of a Dyslexic Bastard

A rough title to a wonderful book: My review from my blog Bookvisions

Book Description:
Runt knows there are things within him that makes him different; just what they are is not clear. His dad calls him a 'runt bastard', his teacher calls him a 'defiant brat', and his mother doesn't call him at all. His brother skips grades, while he has to repeat them. The only good thing in his life is Bee, his slightly older niece.

Linda,
Glad to hear from you. Loves Park borders Rockford to the north, and is the third to last town before the Wisconsin state line. Pretty? Hmmm, well maybe so :) The bike path along the Rock River, perhaps.
I've been to Morris once, back in 1992 when I played baseball for Winnebago HS. That was a great experience, as (if I remember correctly) the ballgame was broadcast on one of the local radio stations. Morris is a huge baseball town, by all accounts. Didn't your town produce a pitcher who had a stint with the Cubs a couple years back?
Well, it's great to have reviewers as members to this site, for obvious reasons. A sleep lab, huh? Sounds neat. I'm assuming you deal with sleep disorders... fascinating stuff. I recently watched a program on TLC that dealt with sleep disorders (sleep apnea is the one I remember the most) and I learned a lot. Didn't know it could have such a profound affect on those who suffer from it.
Again, great to hear from you.
