Writing well requires patience, skill and most of all practice. Which is Homework!

Hello Dave here from the Saturday Night Write-In. One of the things that I like to do on in my writing groups is to assign homework. I know, big cringe, but it really does help to keep you growing as a writer and can actually be kind of fun if you go into with the right attitude. Here I will be presenting challenges or homework assignments which when completed you can post as comments and we'll go over them as a group and maybe have a little good natured competition amongst us writers as well. So, don’t just sit there get to work!
